When purchased directly from LiTen Up Technologies, Inc. (also known as LiTen Up) or through an authorized Sidekick dealer, your Sidekick product is covered by a 12-month limited warranty from the original date of purchase.

What's Covered:

For 12 months from the purchase date, LiTen Up will repair or replace—at our discretion—any product part found to have a defect in materials or workmanship. This is includes both serviceable and non-repairable parts:

  • the Sidekick module (and its internal components)

  • Power cord

  • Connector cord

What's Not Covered:

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • misuse or abuse

  • repairs performed by unauthorized dealers, service providers, or purchaser

  • damage resulting from the use of unauthorized parts, supplies, or accessories

  • improper storage or assembly

  • natural events (e.g. lightning, power surge, flooding, fire)

  • intentional damage

Shipping Responsibility:

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to sending the product to and from LiTen Up for warranty service.

12-month Limited Warranty

To obtain service:

  1. Submit a Service Ticket through our official online form below.

  2. Package and send:

    1. Sidekick (module and cords/cables)

    2. copy of proof of purchase - must include date and location of purchase

    3. FOR US CUSTOMERS ONLY: Non-refundable payment of $15 via check/money order for return shipping to US address.

    4. FOR US CUSTOMERS ONLY: A separate check/money order in the amount of $150 for minimum service fee; to be returned if the Service Dept. determines the service is covered by warranty.

    5. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS will be invoiced for any/all fees for online payment.

  3. If the product was not registered, include your warranty card (if available) for consideration of warranty coverage. Failure to include will cause delay in processing - to determine warranty coverage.

  4. If the Technician's diagnosis results in determination that a repair is not needed (the items are in functioning order and nothing is wrong with them), the minimum fee is applied.

Shipping Responsibility:

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to sending the product to and from LiTen Up for warranty service.

Service Ticket

To obtain service:

  1. Submit a Service Ticket through our official online form below.

  2. Package and send Sidekick (module and cords/cables), along with copy of proof of purchase, authorization from LiTen Up, and $15 check/money order for return shipping to US address. (International customers we will invoiced at time of return shipment.)
